Jigme Reception

Jigme was born in 1961 in Lhasa. In 1977, he was recruited to the
Arts Department of Tibet University. Since then he has participated
in exhibitions and shows around the world and at home. Currently
he is holding the post of vice executive chairman and general
secretary of the Tibetan Association of Artists, member of the
Chinese Association of Artists, and board member of the Chinese Oil
Painting Association.

Jigme recently finished a residency at the Vermont Studio Center
and is in New York; please join us in welcoming him. Recent work
will be on display.
